If you do some research on LasikNewsWire (dot) com, you can read about how every LASIK surgery and the lasers is causing permanent progressive dry eye syndrome (epidemic now) and there is no cure for this, and how the FLAP is permanent, never heals, and how cells are mutated under the FLAP from the UV light from all of the lasers…they are getting ready to quit LASIK because the industry knows this, and instead push Permanent ICL contact lenses…sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

If 10,000,000 Americans have had LASIk and the FDA says there is a 5% dissatisfaction rate, that equates to 500,000 Americans being hurt. A much higher number than the 142 currently being reported. I had LASIK performed in a clinique in Istanbul, one month ago, and NOTHING BAD HAPPENED to my eyes ! I have been wearing glasses for 12 years and I wanted to get rid of them. Now, my vision is perfect – it’s around 20/12 – that’s 170 % vision or “pilot vision”.
First of all, this is a PERFECT LASIK surgery, with no bleeding or complications, and the “lasiked” eye is very beautiful and looks very good after the procedure !
Franco you have what we call aberations and these are often treatable. They can be thought of as part of your treatment was under or over shot. Perhaps the treatment was decentered or the surface was wet as it is in this case. This leads to uptake that is variable and your “lights” which are worse at night! Be evaluated at a top center.
The flap “healing” is an OCD tirade and is not an issue..period.
